Never in a million years did I think I'd get to say these words:  I ran a half marathon last weekend!!!  I've never been a runner or athlete, so this was a real challenge.  Woo hoo!  I'm so glad I did it, AND that it's over!  :)

I had such a difficult time finding tall running pants...my waist-to-bum ration is pretty dramatic and most running pants are too loose in the waist.  I tried multiple brands - Nike, adidas, lululemon - and couldn't find a style that stayed around my waist for more than a few blocks.  UNTIL I found the lucy Perfect Core Pant!!  They're high-waisted, have a 36" inseam, and have a Spanx-like effect on the bits I'd prefer to hide.  I can't recommend them enough.  Seriously.  I want to sing it from the rooftops.

Next I want to try the Elle Mayers Living it Up Tall Pant...I'm waiting for the 36" inseams to be restocked in my size.  I can't wait to support a clothing line for tall women!  What's your go-to fitness pant?

First of all, I'M SO IMPRESSED THAT YOU DID A HALF! I can't stand to run because I feel like it jostles my aching joints too much, but I admire people who do. Second, I think I'm going to need to give these pants a try. I have another pair of Lucy pants that I just love and if these have a Spanxish effect, then I NEED them. Last, I can't say enough good things about the Elle Mayers Livin It Up Tall pants! They are fantastic. I bought my mom a pair for her bday too and she loves them. Let me know what you think if you buy them!

Do the E.M. pants stay up on your waist? How high is the rise? Did you do the 36" or 38"? Wow, I'm full of questions today! :)
